Manual skimming plaster

DESCRIPTION

Alltek Superfine SF30 is a ready mixed white skim plaster with base of very fine natural minerals, organic binder and additives.
It is particularly suitable for obtaining an ultra-smooth surface for the application of lacquers.

USE

  • Interior plaster for walls and ceilings on all standard smooth substrates: its extra smooth texture allows the equalization and skimming of substrates for type A paint finishes.
  • Grouting of wooden joinery and refurbishment of mixed fibre/plaster substrates, painting of furniture.
  • Alltek Superfine SF30 can also be used for filling shallow cracks.
Typical spreadability 0.2 to 0.8 kg/m² per layer depending on condition of substrate.
Recommended thicknesses
  • Min. thickness: 0,1 mm
  • Max. thickness: 1 mm

  • 2 to 12 h on average, depending on application thickness, temperature, ventilation, humidity and substrate type. Sanding and recoating: after complete drying.

  • Shelf life is 1 year in unopened original packaging, protected from frost and extreme heat.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • Plaster, gypsum blocks, plasterboard, cement rendering, old walls, old paintwork, grainy wood.
  • On powdery substrates, apply a fixative.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.

Application tips:

  • Plastering knife.
  • Trowel with rounded points.
  • Sanding with grain size 220 to 400.

Recommendations:

  • Ensure adequate ventilation to remove excess moisture and accelerate drying..
