Airless fine sprayplaster

DESCRIPTION

Lightweight roughing and finishing plaster for airless application. Alltek Alpha F is a ready-to-use white plaster in paste form.

USE

  • Coating for interiors, walls and ceilings of all smooth standard substrates.
  • Ideal on plasterboard.
  • Smooth finish after smoothing and sanding.
  • No smoothing required, the coating swells on application, producing on drying slightly stippled, regular surface that can be coated by all types of paint.
  • Manual application possible.
Typical spreadability 0.5 to 0.8 kg/m² per layer depending on smoothness of substrate.
Recommended thicknesses
  • Min. thickness: 0,2 mm
  • Max. thickness: 1 mm

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • Wallboard and plasterboard after filling of joints, sprayed plaster.
  • As finish on concrete.
  • Wood and wood products, old painted substrates in good condition.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.

Application tips:

  • Stir before use if necessary.
  • All airless pumps, flow rate > 5 L (do not use filter).
  • Airless 25 to 31 nozzles, depending on condition of substrate and equipment used (follow the manufacturer’s advice).
  • Flexible smoothing knife of “Parfaitliss” type or similar.
  • Sanding with grain size 180 to 220.

Recommendations:

  • Ensure adequate ventilation to remove excess moisture and accelerate drying.
