METHOD OF APPLICATION
Substrates:
Plasterboard.
Preparation of substrate:
The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.
The plasterboard must be fixed and compliant with DTU 25-41.
Application tips:
Plaster over any screw heads.
Manual or machine application with a high pressure pump, with nozzle sizes 531 to 535.
Manual application with Bazooka or supplied by high pressure pump (APLA-TECH system) possible.
Manually plaster the feathered plasterboard section with Alltek Tekjoint Lite (or Alltek Joint 2010 / Alltek Blue Hydro), then press on the jointing tape with the same plaster. Fill the joint mechanically using a loaded Bazooka and press down the tape with a plastering knife.
After drying, skim once or twice manually or mechanically with the finishing attachments.
Sanding with grain size 100 to 150
Recommendations:
Ensure adequate ventilation to remove excess moisture and accelerate drying.
