DESCRIPTION
Adhesive corner bead for outward-facing angles. Ideal for protecting walls from wear, friction, and impacts. Provides a professional finish and perfect adhesion thanks to its two adhesive strips. Apply plaster directly after installing the bead, provided the temperature is above 10°C and the surface is clean, dry, and sound. Designed for use with our Alltek Tekjoint Light, Alltek Joint 2010, or Alltek Blue Hydro compounds.
Available in 3 sizes: 2.50 m, 2.70 m, and 3.00 m.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates :

  • Cardboard gypsum boards.
  • For outward-facing angles of +/- 90°.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The surfaces, preparatory work, and application conditions must comply with the relevant DTU standards and regulations.
  • The boards must be fixed and comply with DTU 25-41.

Application Tips:

  • Measure and cut Alltek EXATEK to the desired length.
  • Dust off the angles where the corner bead will be applied.
  • Apply the corner bead at temperatures above 10°C.
  • Remove the protective film from the adhesive strips.
  • Place Alltek EXATEK in position by applying light pressure.
  • Apply the first coat of plaster with a plastering knife (150-250mm), ensuring holes are fully filled.
  • Allow to dry.
  • Apply a second, wider coat of plaster (250-300mm) with a larger plastering knife.
  • Allow to dry, then sand the surface.

Recommendations :

  • Ensure proper ventilation to eliminate excess moisture and accelerate drying.
