METHOD OF APPLICATION

Substrates:

  • Raw concrete (slabs, pre-slabs, panels, cinder blocks)
  • Aerated concrete block after the splinters have been repaired.
  • Brick tiles, single-wall bricks, plaster tiles, cardboard plasterboard, plaster.
  • Old painted backgrounds adhering and in good condition, porcelain stoneware and glass paste.
  • Type OC3 coatings. For any other type of lime plaster, carry out an adhesion test of 1 m² beforehand. After 24 hours, perform a tear test.

Preparation of substrate:

  • The substrates, preparatory work and application conditions must be compliant with applicable building trade regulations (e.g. DTU) and standards.

Application tips:

  • Any airless pump, flow > 5L (do not use a filter), T-Max airless pump or airless high-pressure screw machine. Airless nozzles from 35 to 55 depending on the condition of the support and the material used (comply with the manufacturer’s advice).
  • Traditional screw machine. Nozzles from 4 to 6 mm depending on the condition of the substrate and the material used (comply with the manufacturer’s advice).
  • Apply a first smoothed coat in a thick thickness (3mm). After drying, apply a second, less heavy coat to obtain a better finish.
  • Sand manually or mechanically to obtain a smooth surface (grit 100 to 150).

Recommendations:

  • Indoors, ensure adequate ventilation to remove excess moisture and speed up drying.
